ADVENT RETREAT

December is a busy month, and it can be hard to make the space in our lives to properly prepare our hearts for the joy of the coming of Christmas and all that means for us. It’s precisely because it’s a busy and overwhelming time of year that it is so important to set aside a little time to center ourselves and connect with God.

That is why you are invited to join us at St. Paul’s for a retreat this Saturday morning (December 2) from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. for a time of prayer, conversation, worship, and silence. The Rev. Canon Al Keeney will be leading the retreat, with materials from the Scottish monastic community of Iona around the Advent theme of “Waiting.”

Coffee and breakfast pastries will be provided. There is no cost, but please respond to this email or call the office (309 688-3436) to let us know to expect you. Come and prepare your heart for Christ to be born anew in you this season!
