You belong at St. Paul's!

At St. Paul’s, it is incredibly important that children are given opportunities to join in all parts of being a church family – worship, formation, and fellowship. They contribute as much as members of any other age, and we provide opportunities for them to participate in ways that are appropriate and accessible depending on their development.

These programs are specifically held for children ages 3-9. Please click on the links to find out more about each program.

Godly Play – Held during the Sunday School hour (10:45-11:45am), Godly Play introduces children to Biblical stories and gives them an opportunity to respond in different ways.

Children’s Chapel – During Children’s Chapel, children participate in the Liturgy of the Word (first half of the 9:30am Eucharist) in ways that are age appropriate. From setting the table to making their own prayers to hearing the readings from Scripture in a way they can understand, Children’s Chapel helps children participate in worship and learn what is happening in ‘big church’.

Early Communion – Children are welcome to fully participate in all parts of our service, including communion, but we recognize that some instruction as to what is going on in the service is helpful to children, so we offer early communion classes each year.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Rev. Jonathan (jthomas@stpaulspeoria.com) or Rev. Jenny (jreplogle@stpaulspeoria.com).
