Baptism

Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church. The bond which God establishes in baptism is unbreakable and everlasting. Holy Baptism is administered within a celebration of the Eucharist in the community of the full church where we all promise to support in join in the vows of the newly baptized. We are a tradition that baptizes both infants and adults.

The clergy hold classes for parents and godparents who are presenting their children for baptism or meet individually with adults who wish to prepare for baptism. It is traditional for adult initiates to the faith to be baptism at the Great Vigil of Easter.

If you are interested in baptism, for yourself or your child, please contact the Rev. Jenny Replogle.
