Christmas Eve at St. Paul's
All are invited to experience the heartwarming retelling of the Nativity, featuring children and the young at heart of all ages in costume. There’s still time to take part in this special Christmas Eve tradition.
The pageant begins at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up by emailing stpaulspeoria@stpaulspeoria.com. Participants should plan to arrive at the church by 3:15 p.m. Come share in the joy of the season!
Blessing of the Animals
We will celebrate the Feast of St. Francis, a beloved saint who deeply valued our relationship with all God’s creatures, with the Blessing of the Animals during our 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday, October 5. This is a time to ask God’s blessing on our furry, winged, and creepy-crawly creatures and to say thank you to God for our pets, for all they teach us about love. If you can't bring your pet, you are welcome to bring something representative such as a photo or stuffed animal. This day is also an opportunity for us to support our local animal shelter, Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS). In addition to financial support, they have an immediate need for cat litter, cat food, and dog treats (they will accept any brands in these items).
